TIM BURTON Charlie And The Chocolate Factory I am writing an essay on auteur theory, I will be discussing Tim Burton and two of his films. The first movie I will be discussing is Charlie And The Chocolate Factory which is a musical fantasy and the second is James and the giant peach. The reason I chose Tim burton is because I have always been a big fan of his films ever since I was a small child. Tim Burton is an American Filmmaker, artist, writer and animator. Burton is mostly familiar for his dark gothic horror fantasy movies like Beetlejuice, Corpse bride etc. He started off with making short films as a series. His first fully animated film was 9, others had been stop-motion. In his career he has directed one music video  - The killers, 'Bones'. He is a dyslexic person.
